The Day A Nation Wept...
75 Years Ago Today.
Thank You to those Veterans who stepped up to defend America from her enemies. In memory of my Dear FIL "Dick", who was one of those brave Veterans who served and fought at Iwo Jima.

We're On Our Way...!
Five (5) quilt tops have just been quilted - one infant, two women's shelter quilts, and two patriotic:
And the sixth quilt is underway - another patriotic quilt to help satisfy our Veteran's Day/Christmas Celebrations needs:
We have five (5) Patriotic Veteran's quilts scheduled to be awarded during our upcoming Veteran's Day Celebrations and an additional five (5) are needed for various efforts throughout our East Central Illinois area. Complete details will be shared when everything is finalized.
For now, time to finish up these Patriotic Star blocks so we can get back to quilting!

Beginning in September...
Beginning in September we will start making plans for the rest of 2016 and the New Year, 2017 calendar year(s). We will begin putting together our annual calendar, making final decisions for each month - which quilts will go where.

October - Binding/Labeling Quilts
November - Veteran's quilts (10)
December, 2016 - Children's quilts (3)
January, 2017 - Cutting Out Quilt Tops (25)
